I originally wanted an entry way storage bench to store misc things like gloves and hats but with this, I left out one set of shelves and added a storage bin. Worked out perfectly!! Very sturdy and easy to assemble. Instructions were easy to understand and all the holes and pieces fit together perfectly (unlike many other furniture I've assembled in the past). According to the instructions, this bench can hold up to 275 pounds. Keep in mind that this bench is pretty heavy (seat part), but well made. Overall, I'm happy and would recommend this bench.
