I bought these to replace a pair of snow pants I use for barn chores in Wisconsin. We frequently have temperatures in the single digits with wind chills below zero, and I was tired of freezing while doing chores in sub-zero weather. These have been a lifesaver! I love how much filling they have (extra warm) while still being lightweight enough to move around. I tried lots of other brands and sizes, but this was the lightest, warmest, and most flexible. I also like how durable they are on the outside (heavy duty, canvas-like material). They won't get rips or tears if I brush against a wire fence or rough wood boards. I know they're meant for snowmobiling, but they're amazing for people with animals who live in northern Wisconsin. They have conveniently placed pockets, stretchy parts in all the right places, they unzip in back (great for bathroom breaks without having to get completely undressed!), the waist is adjustable, and the zippers/buttons around the bottom of the legs is great for putting the pants over your muck boots.
