First I want to say my husband built furniture for model homes for over 10 years so he is extremely experienced. This piece was one of the worst he’s ever built. One piece was missing so we had to scab a piece to replace it. It’s a level 8 out of 10 in difficulty.Now that it’s built it’s pretty solid.The pictures of this thing are the most deceptive. The actual product, in-person, looks cheesy and cheap. The veneer is a plastic that has a wood grain "printed" onto MDF particleboard. The print looks bad, kinda like watching a DVD on a 4K television. Stay away from "engineered wood". That just means particleboard. In fact, on this thing, the particles are very large, like "chips" rather than sawdust and glue. But the biggest problem is the low resolution printed that was printed onto the veneer.This product was delivered with a lot of damage! Very cheaply made called customer service did get a discount and offer to return but had already began to repair and assemble ! Do not purchase this product !The packaging cannot withstand the impact during transportation by UPS. Some parts were damaged or even broken. The chemical smell is strong after 2 days and its material is not a solid wood board.Bought this for my office. Very nice, heavy and not to difficult to put togetherWorst piece of furniture I have EVER bought.Missing pieces, horrible instructions,Threw the whole thing away!I would give it zero stars!!! Don't buy. Waste of money.... pure junk!!!
