I received my coat on possibly the hottest day in September so it has only just been tested properly today (October 4th during Storm Alex).I took my dog for a walk and usually it is me who wants to turn back early if the weather is bad, but, this time I surprised my 4 legged friend and was able to push on until we had done our usual circuit.If I wanted to complain then I would say the leg straps are a waste of time as my thighs still got wet, however the rest of me was toasty warm and the coat was a joy to wear.Another major plus is that along with the Australian bush hat I purchased at the same time, I was able to do my Clint Eastwood impersonation when i was walking the previously mentioned canine and we met a couple of teenagers who laughed at my hound - "I understand you were just playing around, but the mutt , he just doesn't get it. now if you were to apologize .....' Ok they walked off looking at me as if i was insane, but it was worth the price of the coat alone hahahaha
