Perfect ankle-high boot, right out of the box. I found the fit to be true. I'm a 10EE, and the boots fit perfectly w/ a very slight margin all around. I took out the original insoles, and put in a slightly thicker pair of gels. It snugged up the fit to exactly where I wanted it, and feel the 9.5EE would have been too tight. Extremely comfortable, without the typical need to break them in.The finish was excellent. Gave the impression of a quality build with a durable synthetic sole that won't slip and doesn't need to be pre-scuffed. When zipped (seems to be a quality zipper), the short shaft was narrow enough to fit boot-cut or straight pants/jeans.Would definitely recommend.
