Rodriguez - Searching For Sugar Man (2012) Documentary Music Film - Perfect for Music Lovers & Film Enthusiasts

I love this album, and I've probably played it every day since I bought it a month ago. This must be what it feels like to be an archaeologist who digs up a rare, pristine fossil. I recently got back into vinyl, and have collected close to 100 used LPs, but this is by far the best LP in my collection in terms of sound and studio quality, not to mention the amazing recovered lyrics of Sixto Rodriguez. I've recommended this album (and the movie) to all my friends and not a one of them has been disappointed! Rodriguez reminds me of a cross between Dylan and Donovan, only I like his sound better than either of them. I haven't been this happy listening to music for as long as I can remember--there is something so inspiring and gratifying about Rodriguez and his amazing delayed success. Light in the Attic (LITA) records has done all music lovers a great service. Although I treasure this album, I would like to point out that my LP came without any write up or liner notes. However, I love it so much I also separately purchased the LITA CD, and it does have the lyrics. Buy this album. You will not regret it. As Rodriguez sings elsewhere, climb up on his music!
