Im not paid by Carolina, just a regular Joe Shmoe at 31 years old. Over the last 10 years Ive bought these boots 3-4 times. They're the most comfortable boots Ive ever worn. No joint pain out of the box, clean fit and your boss wont blink an eye at them. They dont have the most aggressive tread (which i find nice since they dont carry mud around with me) but they still have good grip especially if you work with snow. Waterproofing is good, but if youre exposed for too long they do get saturated and your feet will get wet (I have been in water up to the tongue and was dry). As with any leather, the more you get your boots wet and dry they will crack and water will get through, but thats fairly common with any boot, YOU NEED TO TREAT LEATHER IF YOU WANT IT TO LAST! The only failure point ive really had in these boots is in the sole. The soles are glued and after about 2-3 years they come undone and I usally buy a new pair after a couple super glue repairs, but bear in mind thats with EVERY DAY use and abuse on concrete and outdoor grass and gravel.
