This rug is exactly what I was hoping for, just some extra floor cover for the dogs and an accent to my room. It definitely appears durable, unfortunately I won't know quite how durable it is in the long run with vacuuming and fraying since my pup decided this was the spawn of the devil itself and refused to walk on it for the first two weeks and started chewing the edges when we weren't watching. Honestly it brought a lot of entertainment to the house when this is in the entry way of the room and the dog acted like he was playing a game of the floor is lava lol. Anyways, he stopped and finally walked on it, and aside from some frayed corners (due to said dog) I think this will definitely last longer than our last rug did. And for anyone wondering, there wasn't a smell or anything to noticeably upset the dog, our other fur baby was fine with it from the start. It also settled fairly quickly, I didn't have any problems with it curling up or in general just not laying flat.
