This is the only cough drop that will stop the tickle in my throat and allow me to sleep through the night. I use them in the daytime, too, and often I will have to take it out halfway through to expectorate and pop it back in. They last a long time, and if not actively sucking on them, they will last most of the night. I have never swallowed one while sleeping. I love that they're sugar free, because that way I can justify using them even after I've brushed my teeth. These lozenges are amazing.
