Casio Edifice Chronograph Men's Watch - Brown Dial, Rose Gold-Tone (EFR516PG-5AV) | Stylish & Durable for Business, Formal & Everyday Wear

I have been looking at several watches over the past few months, comparing many of the Japanese brands, for a nice casual work watch. One not too small nor gaughty as with some I have seen that stick out like a sore thumb. I also wanted rose gold with either a leather or synthetic strap, the later most preferably for the type of work I do. Since I was unwilling to spend half of my pay check on what I really wanted I considered the Edifice and eventually purchased it. I have had it for 3 weeks now and it does fit the bill almost perfectly. Looks expensive as others have said I shouldn't wear it and ruin it. 45mm is about the perfect size for my 6'2" med. frame.The only part of the watch that I would like to see changed would be the buckle. It would be so much better with a locking clasp as so many have gone to. The buckle is huge and sticks out to catch on whatever. I may have to look into trying to find one that will fit.Love Casio watches (especially the G shock's). Just received this watch today. This is my first Edifice and won't be my last. The look is unique and the picture doesn't do it justice. The dark colors are a tad darker once you see it, which makes the rose gold really pop. This watch caught my eye in a local store, but the price here was too good to pass up. I expect this watch will be just as reliable as every Casio I have purchased over the past 20 years. Will be good with jeans or as a dress watch. Got my wife's and teenage daughters seal of approval once they saw it out of the box. Will update later if I find this watch to be anything other than reliable.Overall I like this watch. The color "tone" is a bit dark and understated. The size is about normal for a man, not oversized at all, even for a smaller wrist. If you a seeking a brown watch for everyday wear would be a good choice.I received my order on time and it was beautifully packaged. The watch is amazing and i have received very nice compliments.i havechadvit for roughly 8 months now and there is no scratch on the face, yet. The rose gold pops and it brilliantly illuminates at night. only little short coming is the buckle which is slightly too big but not too bad. Great buy.Great watch! I didn't think it would come so beautiful. My problem now is that I have to be constantly aware that I am wearing it for fear it might get scratched.Nice and elegant watch.
