I purchased this 1/2" braid to make a button loop below the stamped leather cockade I added to a somewhat plain chapeau bras. It compliments a wider braid used elsewhere on the hat. This braid is of excellent quality and serves well for the purpose I had in mind.The before and after images show how it improved the look of the chapeau bras.It is worn with a uniform used in reenacting the War of 1812 and looks great.
