If lederhosen is meant to be slightly tight at first, then break-in over time, I'm surprised at how true to size these were. With a 31" waist but kinda athletic build, I've always had buy 34" pants/shorts to fit the legs and butt. Considering other reviews, I sized up to 38", but they were huge. I then jumped to compare the 34" and the 32". Very surprisingly, I'm sticking with the 32". They're a little snug at first but become more comfortable with a few hours of wear. Tight, but no pinching when I sit down. Still a lot of room at the waist, even with the back cinched up all the way.So contrary to other reviews, I found these pretty true to size. Quality seems high and no problems with stitching or buttons, but I can't speak to durability at this point. Color appears an "authentic" worn look, not a fake worn look. Really like it and would recommend. Prost!
