My travel mates made so much fun of me because I kept holding out for the perfect bag that checked all my requirements:Hard-sideNot flimsy cheap plastic feelExpandableTSA LocksPURPLE!The one was it!I have not traveled with it yet and if any problems arise, I will come back and update.My observations: Suitcase materials are very study. I have checked out so many that feel flimsy and easily pushed in with very little effort - not this one. Texture is nice and looks like visible scratches won't be a problem. The TSA locks are fabulous. Feel very sturdy and were easy to set my new combination. Instructions that were attached to bag very easy to understand. The zippers run smoothly and appear to be good quality and the expansion room is just right. The only issue is the pull handle isn't the smoothest but it also has not been worked much. Nothing horrible that would make me not consider this bag. Wheels appear substantial and roll smoothly. The interior workmanship looks very nice and the lining is padded! Not super thick, feels more like a thin foam sheet backing the material but it makes the look and feel much nicer than the standard thin lining inside most cases. This case is much nicer than ones I considered for twice the price!And best of all, if you are a fan of purple (Go K-State Wildcats!) you will love this!
