Non-metallic rigid nylon shank. Permabond™ welt construction is welted and direct attached for long-lasting durability. Slip-resistant rubber outsole. Molded rubber bottom has a high rubber coating that protects against chemicals, water, oil, and dust. Composite safety toe meets all ASTM F241

I purchased these boots for about $25 and only expected them to last the winter. I didn't buy these with high expectations.I own a farm in rural NY- these boots have kept my feet protected, dry, and comfortable all winter.The "leather" scuffs easily and the sole is definitely low grade light rubber- however they're sturdy. I don't regret buying them. I'll be thrilled to get a year out of them and we are already half way there and the boots are in excellent shape.
