Absolutely perfect for the knead I had it for. We bought new leather reclining couches and the way our living room was configured could not have a spot for the dog to look out the window. So I bought this storage bench for extra pillows extra blankets and a spot for him to perch. Storage capacity of large. I did take off the hard plastic seat tabs that were nailed in to each foot. And replace them with rubber ones that I could screw into the bottom. For two reasons one it raises the bench bench Hi enough for the rumba to go under and secondly it keeps it from scratching my brand new hickory floors in my living room. Several pictures attached great review three really good hinges on the back. Do not stand on this product it is not a stepstool. If you want it to remain nice it is not made to hold the weight of a foot going through the top of it
