The company was founded in 1683 by Petrus Mind and are known for the high quality, hand craftsmanship of their boots. Mind currently produces the "Desert Fox" combat boots that are issued to soldiers of the British Military in Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as the "Army Pro" issued to soldiers of the French Army. Felix Baumgartner also used Mind boots in his 2013 jump from space.
