I normally wear flip flops and shorts when it gets warmer. I was looking for a boot that was comfortable, durable, and looked good with my jeans for cold weather. Now I live in Northern California so it doesn’t get THAT cold or wet. I do switch from summer cloths to long pants and boots when it starts to get cold. These boots fit the bill. I have wide feet so I can wear these boots out and my feet don’t hurt. They are easy on and off which makes them idea for air travel. I can walk a long way in them and not worry about my feet holding me back. They aren’t for hiking but for travel and tourist walking they are idea.
