At first I was worried that this might be too big for a chest pack. I mean, just look at it, it looks like a mini backpack strapped to your chest! I thought it might get in the way somehow of normal movements. Once I received it, hooked up a pair of 8x43 Zen Rays, loaded it with my GPS, tripod mount, lens cloth, extra rounds, and phone, I was honestly surprised at how freeing it was not to carry these items in my pockets or even need a backpack at all. I got in every shooting position with a rifle without any problem, and also drew my bow from multiple shot angles without it getting in the way at all. After still hunting with it on my chest, I soon fell in love with it and can honestly say that I glass much more with my binos now than I ever did before when I just let them hang from my neck or kept them in my backpack. I also realized that I no longer need the lens caps to protect the glass anymore which really makes glassing much easier and quicker since you don’t have to mess around with them. If I’m crawling around I will close the little elastic band on the lid so the binos are secure, but if I’m walking around or still hunting I can simple let the lid stay closed by gravity. It really has been the greatest addition in terms of convenience to my hunting gear, and since using my binos has become so convenient and easy, I glass all the time, which is what you are supposed to do in the first place. Before I got this harness I knew that I should be glassing more often, but the process of getting the binos ready each time and then having to make sure to properly protect the glass afterwards led me to being very picky about what actually got me to do it. Now it is so easy and I have all sorts of other things stored right there in front for me to grab instead of having to take off my backpack and retrieve if I needed. I was very hesitant about the price, but if for some reason I lost this one, I wouldn’t hesitate to drop the money for another one immediately.I also have a pair of canon 10x42 stabilizer binos that are really fat. They also fit perfect, which I was not expecting. I have looked into many other bino harnesses, went out on a limb to purchase this one based off of reviews, and will soon be buying my kids the same thing. I wish I had this when I was their age, as I would have become a much better glasser by today.
