RiteAV Decorative 1 Gang 2 Port Cat5e Wall Plate - Brown/Brown is constructed from high-quality materials that will provide a hassle-free service life after a quick and simple installation. The ready-to-install plate includes a stylish, surround (or cover plate) and keystone couplers which are color-matched to the other components for a perfect look. This discreet solution enables you to route your cabling through the walls and results in a clean, professional look behind wall mounted televisions, monitors, projectors and entertainment centers in both residential (home theater) and commercial (classroom, boardroom, factory floor, recording studio, etc.) settings. We include the sturdy hardware to mount both pieces securely and the added benefit is that the heads of the mounting screws are painted the respective color of the other components for a seamless appearance. The plates are suitable for both residential and commercial use and with the coordinating color options, they blend better with walls, backsplashes, trim or room decor. They're perfect for contractors, builders, interior designers or the DIYers that are remodeling a home and want their outlets to match or complement paint/finishes. RiteAV offers a wide variety of A/V Plates to suit any connection requirement, so be sure to check out our entire catalog of products. I had four pre-existing runs, in conduit, that exited from a single hole in the wall. Moving my switch meant that the cables were now too short to reach. The runs were stranded and terminated so I didn't want to mess with punch down solutions. This unit solved the problem with very little hassle allowing for the addition of cables on the room side that would reach the switch. The wall plate will fit existing receptacle boxes or can be surface mounted if you are careful with your hole placement.
