This is a heavy, sturdy screen with beautiful carving. It's not super high-end but to me it looks great. I use it to divide a room into bed/office and it does the job really well, feels more permanent than a curtain. Very dark wood and plenty tall, so expect it to create a heavier "presence." It gives a sense of solidity rather than transparency--yes there are hundreds of tiny holes but you do not see through it at a glance, if that makes sense. So in my case you don't see the bed from the office unless you get up close and peer through. Very wall-ish. Mine stands up straight and balanced but it took some finagling.
