The 1/2" deep rabbet frame depth Allows for framing flat artworks behind glass, or even 3/4" deep Canvases with the Use of offset clips. Each frame comes with D-ring Hanging hardware and screws. Plein Aire frames have a solid Wood composition coated in gesso to ensure a smooth, blemish-free Surface, and the 5 finish choices are sure to fit with any artwork! DOES NOT INCLUDE GLASS, BACKING, OR OFFSET CLIPS. If you choose to frame a Canvas it will only accept up to 3/4" and you will need to purchase 1/4" offset clips separately. If you choose to buy glass and backing it will accept glass, one mat, and a 1/8" backing board.
