Update: given the scratched legs and that one back is noticeably defective, I have decided to return.The box had been resealed and was partially open so they had been returned before probably for the same reason.These are nice sturdy chairs. A little darker grey than I was hoping for based on photos.The seat is a little smaller than I thought but actually the perfect size for the table I bought. Our family is smaller to average-sized so we will have no issue fitting comfortably. Larger and taller people would not fit comfortably.There were a few scratches on the painted legs and seats in spots but nothing I can’t overlook. Besides these were the very last in the lot so there is no option to exchange for a different set.Also, the arms/back rail of one chair is slightly lower than the other three - again, not horrible but also I am not able to return and try again as this was the last set available.Overall happy with them. They go nicely with the table for a clean and minimalist look in a small, rustic space.
