KOHLER K-2905-4-FD Farmington White Drop-In Bathroom Sink with 4-Inch Centerset Faucet Holes - Perfect for Modern Bathroom Vanities and Powder Rooms

I am remodeling my master bathroom, and adding another vanity cabinet to create a double sink vanity.The new sink matches the old one perfectly.Also, v ery fast delivery.This was a replacement for the same sink installed a number of years ago. The sink arrived on time and undamaged. Very nice since this is a pretty heavy sink - cast iron- and the foam sprayed into the shipping box did the trick. The one flaw in the sink is that the rubber flange piece for the overflow outlet was deformed. I warmed it up to try to re-shape, but no luck. I ended up putting some silicon in the deformed flange. Should work for a number of years.. I hope!I love Kohler products. They make very high quality items. This is a "Biscuit Colored" self rimming, cast iron sink for a remodel. The packaging however was "way overboard". The box was a box within a box, filled with rigid foam that literally took 15 minutes to cut open. In the end, I was left with a mess in my outside yard and a giant 2 foot by 3 foot "block" of rigid foam and card board that would not fit into my garbage can.It is a cast iron sink, it is not like it is breakable. Packing the sink in some styrofoam and air bags would have worked fine.They made an impenetrable block of rigid foam I had to saw through just to get to the inner box.I love the sink though!Simple, but good looking sink. Had an unrelated issue with the faucet/stopper assembly, but was replacing same exact model; which is why it's only getting 4 stars: no lifetime warranty, which is odd and the fact that the enamel wore out by the overflow drain and ended up rusting on the older model...I like this sink much better than the porcelain sinks because I have replace three of them because my wife seems to drop her makeup and crack them and this won't happen with this sink, it may chip the surface but not the sink. This sink is also a little larger than the porcelain sinks. I like that is extremely white and has a great finish on it. I have a cast iron crane in the main bath room and it has survived forty six year and just now needs replacing because it has started to rust at the overflow. Kohler was the only brand that I could find that still makes a cast iron sink but I am happy with this sink.One was fine I had to get another because one had scratchesThis is the one you want extremely high quality.This sink is the same size as the one I'm replacing, 2905-22-0, but the shade of white is a little brighter, so I'll have to replace the other one in a double vanity. Amazon did a terrible job on the shipping, they spray foamed the box inside another box and it took 30 minutes to cut it out, then I was left with a lawn bag full of foam chips and two boxes to throw away! I know the sink will rust, so only three stars.
