I've been wearing these boots for the last three years. I work as a habitat restoration technician in Western Washington (Seattle area) and wear these boots in 0-10C (32-50F) rain/snow/slush/muddy weather all day every day. They are still waterproof and the insulation works. As others have stated, these are big, heavy boots. That being said, I've never come in with tired, sore feet. Break in time was about a week. I normally wear a 9 to a 9.5 and went with a 9.5 with these boots which is just fine even with my wool/poly blend socks. I had to replace the laces within the first year. Another reviewer pointed out, and I concur, the 800 grams is too much for anything above 10C (50F).
