These are good. I love my husband but the first time he grilled one I got hockey puck salmon. Honey - it says DO NOT OVERCOOK in bold, red letters right on the box. Fortunately, the man is a quick learner and has an instant read thermometer.I like my salmon on the rare side, so ~120 degrees or so (<130). He said he needs the grill at ~350 degrees vs the 425 listed (the first time he said it was 500 / didn't read the box). He also cooks it for more like ~10 minutes vs 14-18 on the instructions. If you leave it on the cedar plank, the salmon keeps cooking a bit more than you expect after you take it off the grill so if you want to keep it on the plank for presentation, take the fish off 30-60 seconds before you think you should (or remove from the plank if you miss your window of perfection and your wife prefers too rare vs even slightly overcooked).My husband doesn't like salmon but I've shared some with my niece. We like the Maple and Smoked Pepper and the Applewood, Orange and Ginger best. The smoked pepper is a bit heavy on the thin ends of the salmon so I just toss a little off before handing to the grill master.Easy preparation and clean up - just thaw in the fridge a long overnight and remove from the wrap when you want to cook it. 12 packs do take up some room in the freezer but they easily stack.
