The tast of this sweetener is identical to others sold in packets and made from saccharin (Sweet N Low and its imitations) but its advantages over those products is that it is less expensive and it doesn't come packaged in all that paper. The tablets are easy to use but my husband and I have found that the reported sweetening power of each of the "dosages" sold (1/4 grain, 1/2 grain, 1 grain) is exaggerated.
